Zhengzhou New Material Industry Cluster Area to Shenzhen for investment
On July 20th, Wang Xinting, the Deputy Secretary of the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee, Party Secretary of the Municipal People's Government, Deputy Mayor, and Commander of the Construction Headquarters of the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster, led a delegation to Shenzhen to promote investment in the "Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster." The visit was part of the "Industrial Transfer Upgrade, Financing Innovation Development" event, organized by the China Coating Abrasives Association, China Abrasives Association, China Superhard Materials Association, and the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster Management Committee. During the Pan-Tribe Forum on Abrasives and Abrasives, Wang Xinting provided a detailed overview of the industrial positioning, spatial planning, and preferential policies of the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster. His presentation sparked significant interest among participating enterprises, with many engaging in lively discussions about the potential of the new materials sector.

Based on the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan and the Central Plains Economic Zone Strategy, the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster aims to develop a strategic emerging industry that aligns with the overall development plans of Henan Province and Zhengzhou City. This initiative seeks to create a world-class industrial cluster focused on new materials, leveraging collaboration between the Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government and China Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. The goal is to integrate domestic superhard materials and other key industries, reduce operational costs for enterprises, and enhance their competitive edge.
The Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster Area is strategically located in the northwest of Xiangyang City, spanning approximately 10 square kilometers. It is situated along the Bohai Railway, west of S232, north of Zhengshang Road, and adjacent to the Shangjie District. The area has secured full coverage of construction land and offers favorable policies, including competitive land prices and expert support from renowned professionals such as Wang Guangzu, Wang Qinsheng, Zhu Feng, Liu Mingyao, Li Zhihong, Zhao Xinli, Yuan Jinyu, and Li Ying. These efforts have attracted widespread attention from the national superhard materials industry.
On November 21, 2012, the Xiangyang Municipal People's Government officially signed a contract with China National Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. The agreement included infrastructure projects, standardized factory BT cooperation, the National Superhard Materials Trading Center, and R&D and testing centers for hard materials.
The overall plan for the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster Area emphasizes high-end development, green technology, and ecological sustainability. Led by the national industrial policy, the project was designed by the China Machinery Industry Sixth Design and Research Institute to create a professional, distinctive, and influential industrial park. The vision includes developing a leading domestic and international hub for superhard materials, aiming to become a globally recognized "Diamond City," "China Grinding Equipment City," and "Super Hard Material Products Industry Valley."
The industrial positioning focuses on superhard materials, advanced ceramics, new abrasive materials, and high-end equipment. The spatial layout features two main axes (Science Avenue and Yuwang Road), a central service area, and four distinct zones for different industries. A comprehensive service system supports enterprises through product trading, research, testing, and information services.
Preferential policies include financial incentives for foreign and domestic investments, tax benefits, land price discounts, and support for startups and small businesses. These measures are designed to attract and retain enterprises within the cluster, ensuring long-term growth and development.
