Zhengzhou New Material Industry Cluster Area to Shenzhen for investment

On July 20th, Wang Xinting, deputy secretary of the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee, party secretary of the municipal people's government, deputy mayor, and commander of the construction headquarters of the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster, led a delegation to Shenzhen to promote investment in the "Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster." The visit was part of the "Industrial Transfer Upgrade, Financing Innovation Development" event organized by the China Coating Abrasives Association, China Abrasives Association, China Superhard Materials Association, and the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster Management Committee. During the Pan-Tribe Forum on Abrasives and Abrasives, Wang Xinting provided a detailed overview of the industrial positioning, spatial layout, and preferential policies of the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster. His presentation sparked significant interest among participating enterprises, with many engaging in discussions about the opportunities and challenges in the new materials sector. The Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster is strategically positioned to become a leading hub for advanced materials within the Central Plains Economic Zone. Based on the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan and the Central Plains Economic Zone Strategy, the project aims to develop a high-tech, sustainable industrial cluster focused on super-hard materials, functional ceramics, and advanced abrasive products. Located in the northwest of Xiangyang City, the cluster spans 10 square kilometers and is designed with a comprehensive spatial layout featuring two main axes, one central area, and four distinct development zones. The plan emphasizes smart, green, and eco-friendly infrastructure, with a focus on creating a world-class industrial park that supports innovation, research, and international collaboration. To attract investment, the cluster offers a range of preferential policies, including land price discounts, tax incentives, and support for R&D activities. These measures are aimed at fostering a favorable business environment for both large-scale projects and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), encouraging the establishment of standardized factories and promoting technological innovation. The project also includes the development of key facilities such as a National Superhard Materials Trading Center, R&D centers, and testing laboratories. In November 2012, the Xiangyang Municipal Government signed an agreement with China National Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd., further solidifying the commitment to building a world-leading industrial base in the region. With a vision to become a global center for super-hard materials, the Zhengzhou New Materials Industry Cluster is set to transform into a modern industrial hub known as "Diamond City," "China Grinding Equipment City," and "Super Hard Material Products Industry Valley."
