Control scheme for lifting stage computer control system





As we all know, stage lifting platforms are constantly in motion during performances, and their speed and accuracy directly impact the overall quality of the show. Control Objectives and Requirements The system is designed to manage seven screw-type lifting platforms. The key requirements include: a) A travel range of ±2 meters for each platform. b) The ability to stop at any pre-set position within the travel range. c) The flexibility to select and combine any number of lifting platforms as needed. 2. Control Strategy Each lifting platform is driven by a motor that rotates a lead screw. This rotation moves a nut fixed on the platform, resulting in linear motion. With a total gear ratio of 18.52 and a lead screw pitch of 32 mm, each motor revolution results in a movement of 1.7 mm. To achieve higher precision, four sampling points are set along the motor shaft, allowing each counting unit to correspond to a 0.4 mm movement. In the control system, the computer sends signals to the motor control unit, initiating the lifting process. Sensors mounted on the motor shaft continuously collect data, which is then compared with preset values and synchronized with other platforms. This allows the system to accurately determine the position and movement parameters of each platform and make real-time adjustments. As the platform approaches the target position, the computer slows down the motor to ensure smooth and precise arrival.
