5. Check the screws that secure the gate door panel, motor, and arm regularly. If they become loose, tighten them promptly. It's recommended to perform this check at least once a week to maintain proper operation.
6. If the gate makes noise during opening and closing, follow these steps:
1) Check if the door’s belt (silk) is loose.
2) Verify if the proximity switch is damaged or if there are issues with the wiring connected to the main control board.
3) If the problem originates from the machine, and the door panel is not loose, the issue could be with the proximity switch, the terminal connection, or even the control board itself.
4) Finally, check the distance between the proximity switch and the arm. If it’s too far, the switch may not detect the movement properly.
7. If the rear gate fails to open after swiping, the issue is likely related to the proximity switch. To diagnose:
1) Ensure the proximity switch lights up when it detects the arm.
2) If the light is on, check if a signal is being sent to the control board.
3) Measure the distance between the arm and the switch—ideally, it should be between 0.1mm and 0.2mm.
8. If the gate does not close after being powered on or after a card swipe, the problem might be with the second and third pairs of infrared beams. Check if the infrared sensors are sending a signal to the control board. The green LEDs (D10, D11, D12, D13 on the mainboard) indicate whether the beam is active. If no one is present, the LED should remain off.
9. The gate is constructed using stainless steel or cold-rolled steel with a painted finish. Always clean the exterior with a soft cloth to keep it smooth and free of dirt. Avoid using abrasive materials, as they can scratch the surface and affect the appearance. It is recommended to clean the gate daily for optimal performance and aesthetics.
10. If the gate does not respond when a valid card is swiped, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1) Try short-circuiting the SK1-GND or SK2-GND ports on the motherboard to see if the door opens. If it does, the issue is likely with the controller, not the gate itself.
2) Check if the relay output delay time on the controller is set too long.
3) Confirm that the “normally-on†relay port on the controller is functioning correctly after a valid swipe. If everything seems normal, contact our support team for further assistance.
