(Especially for those in the machinery industry — this is essential knowledge!) **First: Stamping Process** Goal: *Produce various body stamping parts* Here is a roll of special steel plate used in automotive manufacturing, neatly arranged with a thickness ranging from 1.0mm to 1.2mm. This steel will undergo a transformation. The entire roll is cut into different sizes and sorted for specific uses. Then, each piece is trimmed and sent to the press for the next stage. The flat steel is then reshaped using a press to create complex body parts. These stamped parts are placed neatly in the finished area for future use. A press-formed side body is shown here. At this point, a batch of steel sheets has been transformed into complex body parts. These are then sent to the welding shop for the next step. **Second: Welding Process** Goal: *Weld various body stamping parts into a complete body* In the welding shop, different body parts are combined through welding. Once the welding is completed, further inspection is conducted. If everything looks good, the body-in-white is sent to the paint shop for the next process. **Third: Painting Process** Goal: *Prevent rust and make the body look beautiful* The assembled body is hoisted into the paint shop for electrophoresis and anti-rust treatment. After electrophoresis, workers clean the surface to check for defects before painting. Because paint contains toxic substances and manual painting is inefficient, Haval uses robotic painting. This ensures even coverage and reduces waste. Once painted, the body is sent to the assembly shop for final steps. **Fourth: Final Assembly Process** Goal: *Assemble all parts to form a complete car* The chassis, including the engine and gearbox, is brought to the assembly shop. Components like steering systems, suspension links, and spare tire brackets are installed on the frame. The rear drive axle housing and coil springs are added next. The front double fork boom suspension is installed, followed by the fuel tank. The chassis is flipped 180° to continue assembly. Various gas and liquid lines are installed, along with shock absorbers and brake discs. The engine and transmission are mounted, followed by the drive shaft and exhaust pipe. Once the chassis is ready, the body is lifted and attached to it. Interior parts such as door seals, B and C pillars, and instrument panels are installed. Wiring harnesses, floor insulation, and seat belts are added. Finally, the steering wheel, seats, and other interior components are installed. At this point, the car is almost complete. **Fifth: Testing** Goal: *Identify potential quality issues and reject defective products* Before leaving the factory, the car undergoes several tests. The engine compartment is checked, and necessary fluids are added. Side rubbing strips are installed, and the paint surface is inspected for damage. Four-wheel alignment and exhaust emission tests are conducted. Cars are tested in a high-pressure water spray room to check sealing performance. After passing all tests, the car is driven on test lanes to ensure quality. Finally, the car is inspected one last time and placed in the parking lot.
