In an interview with reporters, Academician Lu Bingheng said that after years of accumulation in the "863 Program" and "04 Special Project", China's high-end equipment manufacturing technology has grown from scratch, from weak to strong, and accounted for half of the breakthrough. China's CNC machine tools have taken a big step in design, manufacturing and experimentation. For example, five-axis linkage machine tools, medium and high-end CNC machine tools and large equipment that the country urgently needs have made great progress.

Major breakthroughs have been made in the automotive sector, including key automotive processes such as stamping, welding, painting and finishing. Among them, stamping has achieved economic benefits. A person from Dongfeng Motor said that welding and painting can quickly see benefits.

Academician Lu said that 40% of the "04 special" technology has entered the stage of industrialization. Among them, 20% achieved a large amount of industrialization, and 20% entered the batch and engineering applications. 8~10 companies have gained benefits from these new high-end equipment technologies, which has provided technical support for the company's product structure adjustment.

Large-scale industrialization or five years later

In response to the high-end equipment industry sector being sought after in the capital market, Academician Lu reminded investors that the basic industry is a gradual technology. To create a continuous hot spot for high-end machine tools, companies must do their own. The overall industrialization of high-end equipment is mature. It is estimated that after four or five years, the gap between China and international cutting-edge technology can be greatly reduced.
