How is the potato detoxified? Potato detoxification method
After detoxification of the potato, the normal metabolic activity was restored, and the original yield-increasing potential was fully exerted. Method for making virus-free potato:
(1) The method of plant tissue culture at the point of growth of the shoot tip is used to grow a virus-free potato.
Due to the rapid cell division of the potato shoot tip tissue, which far exceeds the virus proliferation, this difference in speed forms a virus-free region of the shoot tip. At the same time, the potato stem tip cells are highly metabolized, and they have an advantage in competing for the precursor of synthetic nucleic acid molecules, and it is difficult for the virus to obtain its own raw materials. In addition, some components in the meristem of the shoot tip of the potato or in the medium can inhibit the proliferation of the virus. Therefore, the virus-free seedlings can be obtained by using the shoot tip tissue culture of the potato, and the virus-free seed potato can be obtained by rapid propagation of the virus-free seedlings.
Potato detoxification operation method:
A. The shoot tip growth point of 0.30~0.50 mm is stripped under the dissecting microscope and cultured on MS medium with different concentration growth regulators. The medium number is MS1~MS12, and no growth regulator is added. MS medium as a control (CK);
B. Under sterile conditions, the obtained non-toxic seedlings are cut into sections, one leaf per section, and placed in different kinds and concentrations of 1/2 MS medium for cultivation. The Chinese agricultural net does not add any growth regulator. 1/2 MS medium was used as a control.
